The Hanover & Wolverhampton Link Organisation Project (HWLOP), believes that a sense of history is fundamental to the understanding of human experiences.
Our project highlights the migration of Hanoverian's from the Island of Jamaica. Through their endeavours they have given support to the community and development of Wolverhampton.
Our aim is to ensure that present and future generations have a comprehensive understanding of their predecessors; their communities and themselves.
More Information On Background HistoryThrough their endeavours, Four Themes (Agriculture, Education, Health & Social-Cultural) were designed to organise projects around educating the younger generation about there descendants and how to improve themselves in society.
Hanover Wolverhampton Link Organisation Project
HWLOP Was developed to ensure that present and future generations have a comprehensive understanding of their predecessors; their communities and themselves.
HWLOP's main focus is to recognise, respect, social identities, raise awareness of contributions and educate the younger generation. As well as celebrate the historical, cultural and commercial success of our communities.
This project will encourage and assist people of all backgrounds and interests, to learn more about its culturally diverse communities.
Another aspect of HWLOP is to Partner with other organisations around the world to bring co-operation through the trading of information and learning aspects of each others Parish and City's, mobilisation and socio-economical development.
HWLOP agrees to uphold and support the projects intrinsic principles & values of bringing communities together for the betterment of all.
