Wolverhampton Local History Project

HWLOP Social History Project, aim is to research, collect, record, preserve and share local history, such as news, events and local stories from the area of Wolverhampton.

HWLOP reason is to create an archive of local history which can be passed on to future generations, with equal emphasis on both affairs in Wolverhampton

All Wolverhampron residents, past and current, are urged to contribute their memories and photos of urban life in any period, right up to the present day.

An important aspect of local history is the to keep residents informed of past and present events and opportunities while reminding them of their heritage.
